Applejack is a distilled spirit made entirely from apples.  In France, they have a similar product they call Calvados.  Applejack is technically a brandy since it is made from the juice of the apple fruit.  Traditional methods of Applejack production, however, give it a flavor that is more along the lines of a whiskey or bourbon.  Just a little sweeter  since it is not made from fermented grain mash.  With its nice apple nose, unaged Applejack is pleasant to all the senses.  Crisp, clean and delicate. Our young Applejack will be aged for one to two years in oak barrels.
